Education
Dr. Samuel Juma is a graduate of Kenya Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Programme and was part of the Cohort 10.
Dr Samuel has a PhD in Public Health. He also has masters qualifications in Public Health and in Epidemiology, and a Post
graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management. He is also an EMERITUS Scholar.
Career & Experience
As a Public Health Specialist, Dr Samuel has more than 11 years of practice having worked both in the MOH and UN system.
Currently, he manages the Gavi Health Systems Strengthening Project that is aimed at improving immunization coverage and
addressing the barriers to equity in access to immunization services in Kenya.
